Ingrediant of chana daal kofta:
1) chana daal – 250 grm
2) onion
3) garlic
4) 2 green chilli
5)2 cinnamon
6) 1 cardamom
7) mustered seeds
8) cumin seeds & black pepper
9) ajwain
10) kasuri methi
For spices:
1) take 1 chopped onion, 2 green chilli, 2 cinnamon, 1 cardamom, 1tsp cumin seeds, 4-5 black pepper, 1 tsp mustered seeds . 2) grind into the mixer jar & make a thin paste.
How to cook:
1) soak chana daal for 3to4 hour 7 than grind into the mixer & make a coarse paste.
2) after that, we add 2 tap ground spices, 1 tap salt, 1 tsp tumeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp kashmiri mirch powder, 1 tsp ajwain & kalaunji & mix well.
3) take hot oil in the pot & make medium saize pakaude. fry the pakaude untill pakaude is golden brown & crispy.
4) take 2 tsp oil in the pot & add thin chopped onion.
5) fry the onion till brown & soft.
6) after that add 1 tap salt, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp kashmiri mirch powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder & mix well cover the lid & cook for 7-8 min on low flame till spices release the oil.
7) add 1 cup water, salt (according to the water) kasuri methi , mix well cover the lid & boil for 2-3 mint on medium flame.
8) add all kofta & cook for 4 mint on low flame until kofta is soft.
9) Now your delicious chana daal kofta is ready to serve.
10) Enjoy with roti, paratha, puri & rice.
